Whiskey is a 2 year old German Short Haired Pointer & American Staffordshire Terrier mix pup in his prime! Full of energy, loves the outdoors, and playing with his fur friends. Loves people including kids and toddlers. Medium and big dog friendly and socializes best with female dogs who match his puppy like play style. Enjoys a good chew toy and ice cubes. Crate trained and house / potty trained. Knows basic commands and walks great on lead leash. He will need continued obedience training as he is still a youngster, and it will be a good bonding routine for him and his new pawrents. Whiskey had a tough start to his life, was born and found on the streets in Long Beach, CA. Where he was placed in county shelter all before he was 1 year old. Survived parvo and giardia as a baby. And has been healing and becoming his fun silly self ever since rescue. Whiskey deserves a dedicated, patient, and active family who wants to show him a life full of love and adventure. (Note: all rescues under the care of Saving Lady Dog Sanctuary are fully vaccinated with annual vaccines + rabies + rattle snake, receive routine anti-flea + tick + heartworm prevention chews, microchipped, and are spayed/neutered).
